About Inked in Red

Erin Clark Kuzma is an illustrator, designer, and art director with a lifelong love of animals, nature, and the wonderfully strange details of the world around her. Her work is rooted in observation, imagination, and a deep appreciation for the little things that make life feel colorful and alive.

She’s especially drawn to bold, unexpected color and the expressive quality of ink pen linework. She loves the contrast between intricate, organic lines and bright, playful color, whether she’s drawing an animal, exploring a botanical subject, or creating something that exists somewhere between the natural world and her imagination.

Nature, travel, textiles, and the small, beautiful things she encounters in everyday life are constant sources of inspiration. She works primarily in ink, watercolor, and digital, often combining mediums to create pieces that feel detailed, whimsical, and a little bit wild.

At the heart of her work is a simple love of drawing things she finds beautiful, curious, funny, or fascinating. Her hope is that her work makes you pause, look a little closer, and see something worth noticing.
